Maegan’s birthday with the crew at some little wine bar called The Studio by JUICE.

Semi-carbonic fermentation, 7-9 months in old barrels, and no SO2 added.

On the nose: thin red fruit initially, very closed.
In the glass: light bodied, and cloudy – turns out this was an unfiltered wine.
On the palette: very high acidity that’s fairly well managed, with nice touchy tannins
A very distinct strawberry on exhale.

The nose developed with time, and deepened as it warmed up in the glass. Generally enjoyable, although this is about as simple and unexciting as it gets.
