Hehe. Decided to start logging purchases. Lynch Bages 2011 and a case of the Ch. Haut Bailly 2019.

I’ve been trying to taste a Lynch Bages for ages but could never bring myself to pay the price tag here in Singapore. Jumped on the EOY deals and grabbed an off-vintage to try it out. Super excited – this has come up as a must-drink by just about every reviewer I follow closely.

The case of Haut Bailly 2019 was well, completely unplanned. Sean was browsing around the cornerstone warehouse and spotted this truly outrageous deal. Basically just half price, for a RP97-99 wine. This was supposed to be an absolute stunner of a wine, and it’s gonna be at least a decade before I see these guys, but I wish I had the storage space to grab a couple of cases.

Also, a couple of the Castelgiocondo Brunello 2016 that we got at a ridiculous deal as well. For some reason, castel’s fit my palette insanely well and I found them just absolutely delicious, even on their off year. We’ve had the 2016 before, and while the alc was higher than what I prefer, it was superb.
