At the Ohana NYE countdown party.

Fresh off the bottle: initial nose was this intense minerality coupled with a weird vegetal/herbaceous note that Shaun picked up as reminding him of Sauvignon Blanc. Reminded me of guavas.
Thankfully as the wine breathed, that vegetal note dissipated, and the nose sweetened.

On the palate: mid+ acidity, mid-/shortish finish.
Very intensely aromatic on the exhale, but also oddly alcoholic.

This wasn’t what I was looking for when I ordered it, but I found myself really enjoying this after the wine’s had some time to breathe. Unsure if it’s something I would buy again though.
