With Hart at Born for Valentine’s Day 🙂

In the glass: bright yellow gold. Clear.
On the nose: the wine took a while to breathe and open up. Initially just a timid peek of citrus. Not much else.
On the palate: a bright jolt of high acidity, very bright, lively and juicy. Zippy on the tip of the tongue. Nearly bone dry. Thankfully, intensely aromatic on the exhale with stone fruits, citrus.
As the wine breathed, very faint notes of petroleum, and the wine intensified in its richness and aromas. Flinty notes, right at the verge of being a touch reductive.
Fairly straightforward Riesling that’s just delicious.
