In the glass: a rich ruby with garnet rim. Had a certain milkiness to the body

On the nose: much less dark fruits this time. I got red currants. Dark cherries. There was a lot more Christmas spices and woodiness than the previous wine. A certain glycerin character to it as well.

On the palate: high acidity, grippy tannins. Again, this was mid- body, but with high intensity of flavors on the palate.

This bottling drank much better this time around than the last. Seems like it needs 2ish hours of air.
Still way too young though
