An almost genius pairing.
I’ve ruined many great wines with bad pairings. In particular, spicy foods REALLY ruins my palate for a period of time, making most wine taste awful to me.

In the glass: a deep bright gold. Clear.
On the nose: just, pure, lychees. Sweet, but not cloying. But just very distinctly lychees.
On the palate: this was the genius of the pairing. I’ve had this on clean palate before, and imma be honest – it is too sweet for me, I would not drink this. But with a spice-impaired palate? Oh yes. Bright acidity + a sweetness that is now weeeeell within my drinking range. Juicy. Lychee x south East Asian flavors? It works so well.
