Wine pairing at the fantastic Kindling, with Hart for Vday 🙂

A surprisingly enjoyable burg-blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, that went well with a rich umami abalone dish.
Deep rich red fruits, with a tiny spice lift. Fair intensity on the palate, with a mid+ acidic and a surprisingly rich body.
Only flaw with the wine was the rather short finish that drops off abruptly. Which is such a shame given that good body.
