This wine needs air, and some temp to show its best.

Fresh off the bottle: whispers of citrus. Shy. On the palate, this was flat with a finish that drops off.

But with air? What a transformation on the nose. This brilliant flash of white flowers. With even more air: this DEEPENS. Touch of honey. Intense minerality. The sudden emergence of a mild reductive flintiness. Lemon curd. Sweet.

My only reservation was the palate: with air and temp, it has a beautiful intensity of yellow fruits. However, that odd dull bitter tinge, and odd abrupt drop off in finish had let the wine down.

This would’ve been a much higher rated wine, if not for the finish. Pity!
