With Hart, YZ, Sloke, Liz, Malone and PT at the charming Nicolas.

First red of the night; I was looking at a Chambolle, a Volnay, and a Chassagne, but spotted this bottle from the corner of my eye.

In the glass: light bodied with bright ruby and a distinct garnet tone. Clear.

On the nose: deep red cherries and raspberry. Intense metallic minerality. Surprisingly stem-spicy.

On the palate: energetic and intense. Bright spark of acidity. Primary. Linear.

This was delicious.
