With Hart, YZ, Sloke, Liz, Malone and PT at Nicolas.

THIS WAS DELICOUS. Wow.

In the glass: a deceptively lighter bodied ruby with even more garnet than the Gevrey.

On the nose: just pureeee strawberries and sweet cherries. Intensely aromatic.

On the palate: a beautiful juxtaposition vs the Gevrey. This was just juicy, super plush, round but still elegant and lively. Just silky. Unlike how it looked in the glass, there’s a certain weight to the body on the palate, and high intensity of fruit.

Idk if I would say this was the better wine, but this was utterly delicious and slotted in nicely in the lineup
