The first thought that came into my mind was: it was unfair to the 2005, to have the 2003 tasted right after it.

The 2003 is this: take ALL the tertiary development of the 2005, but give it even more primary fruits to keep in reserves.

Whereas the 2005 is well into its tertiary development stage, the 2003 is currently in this insane sweet spot of fruit and funk. It was delicious and it was damn glorious.
