You can always count on that fella to bring the most interesting bottles. I don’t know anything about it, aside from the fact that it’s from Jurancon, and made from 100% Petite Manseng. My first ever.

In the glass: a rich bright gold. Clear.

On the nose: a whiff of sweet green grapes, a little shy

On the palate: this was sweet (of course) but still with a surprising burst of freshness with just the right dollop of acidity to make this taste faaaaar from cloying (which many Moelleux do). In fact, this might be the only Moelleux that I’ve ever drank a second glass of. On the exhale, pureeeeeee grape Hi-chew candy, touch of honey. Super aromatic

Very surprisingly delicious.
