With Hart, Eric, Jess, Tiara and Bradian at Hart’s birthday!

YUM this was delicious. New to this winemaker but super pleased I took a gamble.

In the glass: slightly pale bright gold. Clear.

On the nose: despite that mild delicate color, this was an intense wine. Strong tight Stoney minerality, and an unexpected waft of tight flinty reductiveness. White flowers. Straw. Just a lean focused wine with this tension.

On the palate: mid+ acidity, juicy, and a surprising silkiness to it that I wasn’t expected. Very dry, but not bone dry.

Suuuuuper pretty Chenin Blanc. Maybe a tiny tiny touch too reductive for my usual palate, but that laser focus was super enjoyable.
