Still young, needs age, benefits from substantial air.

In the glass: surprisingly light bodied, and distinctly garnet. Clear.

On the nose: a deep savory note, and lean sweet oak. Nose was very very meek initially and took at least an hour airing in the bottle to open up. Sour cherries, tiny licorice, lean aromatic oak, and this earthy savory note. Touch of VA.

On the palate: intense and good concentration of fruit. Mid body. Mid++ acidity. Grippy tannins, better with food.
