With Hart and the Wine Hoes at mine. Bottle from Shaun.

Delicious little bugger.

In the glass: dark ruby with some garnet around the rim.

On the nose: sweet, dark. So much dark flowers, black cherries and plums. Barnyard funk. Touch of spice from the oak. I’m not familiar with the winemaking, but I’m gonna guess either 100% destemmed, or like very very low stem inclusion (which I generally prefer). A distinct but mild metallic minerality on the exhale. A very, idk, sexy wine.

On the palate: silky body, with a surprisingly pleasurable tannin structure that’s very resolved. Mid bodied, mid+ intensity of fruits. Mid+ finish.

Acidity was mid+, more of a warm glow than bright spark.

This was delicious, although maybe a touch light on the body.
