With Hart at Crystal Wine’s tasting
Hart and I have drank quite a large number of vintages, and they’ve been solid. This might be their best one yet.
On the nose: reductive style, with a very linear and focused flintiness; not out of balanced at all. High minerality, touch of stone fruits. This is intense, ripe
On the palate: on entry this was just PLUSH and fat, but transitions into a very lean and focused finish. Very long finish, with aromatics that just lingers. Mid+ intensity. Mid+ acidity.
This was delicious. I am not generally a fan of overly reductive wines, but this was very very well balanced.
